Phone 12 Pro Expected To Come With 120 Hz ProMotion Display, 3x Camera Zoom and Improvements To Face ID

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 12 Pro is expected to feature a host of amazing features with 120Hz ProMotion Display, 3x rear camera zoom, and a much-improved Face ID on top of the list. The leaker Max Weinbach shared all this information on their YouTube channel.

Max says that the upcoming line of iPhones for 2020 will be available in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch sizes with 120Hz ProMotion displays that will offer a higher refresh rate. Apple introduced ProMotion display in its latest iPad Pro. According to rumors, the display will switch dynamically between 60Hz and 120Hz based on the remaining battery life of the smartphone.

The flagship iPhones are also expected to feature a bigger battery in order to compensate for the increased power consumption that comes with a higher refresh rate and the 5G connectivity of the device. The new, improved battery is expected to have 4400mAh capacity. Yes, that’s a major upgrade to the cell phone parts as the current biggest iPhone – i.e. iPhone 11 Pro Max – features 3969mAh battery.

There are rumors that the new iPhone line will also come with a better Face ID as well. If the rumors are to be believed, the improvements to the Face ID include wider viewing angle to support iPhone unlocking at a wider angle range. The new iPhones will have a smaller notch design compared to older iPhones and will also have a LiDAR Scanner incorporated into the rear of the device. It will help the device to autofocus more quickly and accurately capturing photos in the Portrait mode as well as AR experiences.

Talking about the improved cell phone parts, the iPhone 12 Pro will come equipped with a better smart HDR feature to significantly reduce noise in those low-light settings. The telephoto zoom lens will offer 3x optical zoom to allow users to take pictures and capture videos far more closely. The quality of the digital zoom will not be affected at all making sure it’s as good as it used to be in the older models.

Last month, EverythingApplePro came up with some insights into the upcoming iPhone 12 Pro Max that were based on some leaked CAD designs. The leaker has accurately predicted things about iPhone 11 Pro Midnight Green finish in the past. There were accurate predictions on less-obtrusive volume HUD in iOS 13 as well. That said, the leaker has given some incorrect news in the past as well such as iOS 13 getting a native Calculator app for iPad, robust displays in iPhone to work under water, and Home Pod launch in Austria and Italy in 2019. What that means is we can’t be certain about the recently leaked information from this source and there is every possibility that these rumors will be completely wrong. But they can be true and accurate too. Let’s wait and watch what new features come as part of the new iPhone 12 line later this year.
